This photo set really stood out because Bengt has a great eye for landscape photography while using his Nikon FG20 and home-made lens, modified infared Holga and Canon 5D. Interesting compositions and and imagery combined with thick tones make for some very cool abstract images.
I selected this set because it opens the discussion about using film cameras and homemade lenses and or improvised equipment to achieve unique results. I give Bengt props for his great eye for not only seeing light and shapes, but for his ability to break free of conventional equipment and try new things to achieve his point of view.
I was quite impressed with Bengt’s photo set and am only offering my opinion and insights which at times may seem harsh, but are honest and full of encouragement, so great job Bengt and keep up the good work!
